The Bure Valley Railway’s 15inch gauge Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway based 2-6-4T No. 9 "Mark Timothy", is visiting the Whistlestop Valley Railway (Kirklees Light Railway) for the first time for their annual Steam and Diesel Gala weekend on the 6th and 7th of September 2025. Which this will be the first time the locomotive has visited another 15inch gauge heritage railway away from the Bure Valley Railway for the first time.

The Bure Valley Railway’s 15inch gauge Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway based 2-6-4T No. 9 "Mark Timothy" has been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul and will be having a brand new boiler fitted from North Bay Engineering.
