Constructed for the Madrid, Ciudad and Badajoz Railway it was briefly their No. 58 before both were taken over by the MZA (Madrid-Zaragoza-Alicante Railway) soon after delivery, numbering it their 408. It was again renumbered in it’s present displayed guise by RENFE after their succession of 1941.

Actually plinthed at a junction on Avenida Constitucion, outside a parque on 07 February 2018.
