This locomotive was purchased by the Great Southern of Spain Railway, itself financed by British capital and 25 of this class of locomotives were built by three UK manufacturers. In 1922 the railway changed its name to FC de Lorca a Baza y Aguilas but retained the original running numbers of the class until the formation of RENFE in 1941 whereupon they assumed their Class 130 running numbers, based on wheel arrangement.
