However, another source gives the serial number of the DRB locomotive as Schichau 3993/1943, which fits the identity sequence of others known to exist or have been exported to the BDŽ. Whilst it may bear the build plate off 3989 (which appears to be no longer extant) No. 52 5702 was reported to be stored at Mamonowo in 1993 ?

The locomotive spent a couple of years with DRB as No. 52 5702 before joining the PKP, initially at Ilawa before moving to Malaszewicze in 1952. It was at Trzebinia in 1960; Jaslo in 1972; Koscierzyna in 1985 and was withdrawn from service at the very end of 1995 from Bydgoszcz Glówny. Thereafter it went, the following year, to the (soon to be moved and demolished) Stacja Muzeum. ul. Towarowa 1, 00-811 Warszawa, Masovia
