This locomotive was built for, and spent a short period with the DRB as No. 52 5680 before being passed to Soviet Railways in 1945 as No. TE-5880. It returned to Poland in 1963, not for the PKP but for the PMPPW and worked until 1994. In 1998, it was displayed in the museum at Jaworzno-Szczakowa. In May 2011 it went to PKP Rybnik for external renovation and a couple of months later was plinthed (and where photographed) in front of the DB Schenker Rail Polska S.A. offices, ul. Freedom 337, 41-800 Zabrze, Slaskie

This locomotive was cosmetically restored and re-located to a display position outside the DB Cargo Polska S.A. offices at Wolnosci 337, 41-800 Zabrze, Poland in 2012.
