Tyb-1221 originally produced for the Opalenitzer Kleinbahn as their No. 6 Kaiserhof, later No. 6 Duszniki. In 1949 it joined the PKP fleet, again at Opalenica, as PKP-B: Txb2-1221 and in 1951 moved to Elk where, in 1961, it was renumbered Tyb4-1221. It went on to Biala Podlaska in 1968 and Mlawa from 1971 but in 1972 was conveyed and put on display (alongside six other narrow-gauge locomotives) in the grounds of a former Friedrich Lead and Silver Mine, at the Open Air Museum of Steam Machines (Skansen Maszyn Parowych), Szczesc Boze 81, 42-600 Tarnowskie Góry, Silesia
