The locomotive was DRG 1925-1937, and the original DRB 1937-1945.

This locomotive was delivered as KPEV Posen 2431 then, from 1920, Osten 2545. It became DRB No. 38 2155 from 1925 and is one of only six (all from different manufacturers) of the famous Prussian P8 type steam locomotives remaining in Poland, joining the PKP at Olawa in 1945 serving mainly in Central and Sothern part of the still occupied country after WWII. It first reached Wolsztyn in Spring 1989, working here until September 2001, then taken that October to Poznan depot, and, four years later, to ZNTK Gniezno for repairs. Having featured in several parades at Wolsztyn it is currently out of service awaiting boiler repairs at the PKP (now Cargo) depot,ul. Fabryczna 1, 64-200 Wolsztyn, Greater Poland.
