Ty42-85 was delivered to Rybnik and worked for most of its life in Southern Poland before being withdrawn from Kluczbork depot towards the end of 1991. It was taken, in 1997, to a type of museum in Krzeszowice before going, in 2008, to Pyskowice where it is now on display at Skansen TOZK Pyskowice, Piaskowa 1, 44-120 Pyskowice, Silesia
