Dale W Fickés reports:

Ty42-24 is Fabryka, Chrzanów No. 1529 of 1945. Whilst destined, it never worked for the DRB and was delivered late in the year direct to Sedziszów. It spent most of its life in Southern Poland and finished work as a Stationary boiler from 1984 in Lazy, being withdrawn during the summer of 1991. In the Spring of 2008 it was taken to Pyskowice and a year later to PTK ZNiUT, Dzierzno for renovation, returning to operational service (probably the property of TOZK) during the summer of 2013. It now resides on the premises of Huta Labedy S.A.,Anny Jagiellonki 45, 44-109 Gliwice, Silesia
