This locomotive had a brief ownership with the DRB when delivered as No. 52 3286 but very soon went of the books of Soviet Railways as MPS TE 3286. It was not until the end of 1962 that it registered by the PKP with a first allocation in early 1963 at Zajaczkowo Tczewskie and shortly afterwards to Jaworzyna Slaska in Silesia. It first worked from Wolsztyn in 1987 but was actually withdrawn from Gniezno in 1992, having been based there for a couple of years. It was nearly a decade before being taken from there to Wolsztyn again in 2001, but in 2011 it went to Powodowa, a small village station with adjacent sidings a few km distance to the west of Wolsztyn, before returning as a wreck, five years later where it now stands with several others in a similar condition between station and depot, off Dworcowa 6, 64-200 Wolsztyn, Greater Poland.
