The "Alco-Montreal Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 54759 through 54763 (73" drivers) and 54764 through 54766 (69" drivers), Road Numbers 448 through 457, were shipped to the "Intercolonial Railway" during August of 1914. If the Road Numbers increased with the Construction Numbers, this unit's original Road Number would be 453. All of these units were 4-6-2's. Also, there are two fewer Construction Numbers than Road Numbers listed; I believe Construction Numbers 54767 & 54768 were probably assigned to this order, since I can't find them anywhere else in the list. (The next higher Construction Number I have found is 54769, which was an Alco-Cooke produced unit)
