Delivered in 07/1943 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2436, in 1945 being within the Soviet sector of Germany, it first went to the ÖStB - Austrian State Railway, prior to it being split from the DRB then, in 1947 to the ÖBB - Austrian Federal Railways in tge same identity. In 1977 it was withdrawn from service and entered the Srrasshof collection before, in 1978 going as a memorial in front of Hotel am Biwasee, Kyoto Park, Kobe, Japan along with 9 Orient Express cars. However, this monument was dismantled at the end of 2009 and possibly all vehicles were scrapped ?
