My apologies, I thought this locomotive was going to Ralston with 701. It is actually going to a private site in North Carolina as previously mentioned.

According to "Ghost Railroads of Tennessee" by Elmer G. Sulzer (pages 247 - 248) This locomotive, along with #701, where from a fleet of 5 engines numbered 700 - 704 acquired by the NC&StL in around 1916 to work on the 10.24 miles Orme Branch line, serving several coal mines and a quarry. The line ran from Orme Junction, Alabama and ended at Orme, Tennessee. For a time, this line had a mixed train service, that was the only passenger service on the line. This line was later abandoned in 1942. I have no idea how these 2 engines survived or what happened to the other engines.
