Steam Locomotive Information

The North British Locomotive Preservation Group August 2026 newsletter commented on this locomotive:

"Recent reports suggest that the loco has now moved 230 miles down the line to Naypyidaw Station as the Railway Headquarters closed in 2000 and is being converted into a luxury hotel. Further information on the whereabouts of this historic locomotive would be greatly appreciated."

If you know anything more add a note and I will pass the information on.

Still at Naypyitaw Station in 2025 The photo shows it at the station, not at HQ HQ closed in the 2000s and is being converted into a hotel
