In 1924 this steam locomotive was built for the Grand Trunk Western. It was mostly used for shunting.

fuel I believe is still coal. It still has the butterfly doors on the back head

Locomotive has NOT moved to Quincy, IL (tender has moved). Verified March 2016 that 05 is still at Galt.

Steam Locomotive 8305 has been moved to Qunicy Illnoise for further cosmetic restoration. Please reflect that on the location of this locomotive.And please also relect that the locomotive is undergoing cosmetic restoration. Thankyou

please reflect that GTW 8305 is currently under restoration as 12/27/06. the engine will be moved from galt to quincy illnoise for the rest of its restoration.
