I'm interested as this is the oldest listed locomotive in NC. I've asked lawyer colleagues in Hyde County to find out about the listed owner, "Jack Williams" of Swanquarter. (Note that the name of the county seat is NOT two words). They can find no record of a Jack Williams there, although there are Williamses. There are only about 5600 people in the entire county, but so far no one I've been able to speak with has known anything about this machine. Do you have any further information about the owner? Do you know where or who this information came from, and how old it might be? I am willing to follow up if I have any more leads... Thanks, Mac Whatley, Asheboro, NC
