There is a report from Save Disney Steam that there are few scenarios of what could happen at Disneyland, and Walt Disney World Railroad. 1. First off, nothing could happen, and everything could stay the same for 60+ years. 2. The steam engines could be replaced with diesels looking like steam engines. 3. The steam engines have their inner workings remove and replaced by diesel motors. 4. The entire railroads shut down and removed. And that possibility is not entirely unheard of. Remember the viewliner? April 22,2014 a final decision has been made, and the steam engines are remaining at Disneyland, and at Walt Disney World for foreseeable future. Are they that dumb at Disney?

The Dixon Boiler in LA. It was built by disney, in california.

I have an Inquiry rather than a comment, I am curious, is the Builder Dixon Boiler from PA or the one from Los Angeles CA

C.K. Holliday has been fixed and is now back in service. She had a stuck throttle valve as in stuck fully open. When the engineer released her breaks there was a lot of wheel spin, and she was taken back to the engine house with the engineer controlling her by only her johnson bar. The train crew had it all under control, and fortunately no one was hurt, no equipment was damaged, and the engine was put to safety. She has had her valve fixed, and has her status changed back to operational. C.K. is a crew favorite for her easy firing, steaming, and operating.

C.K. came down with mechanical problem over the weekend, and is currently stored. Until further notice of the problem, and repairs have been made, the locomotive will remain stored.

C.K. Holliday was attending Fullerton Railroad Days 2007 and I was told the engine was recently painted in her 1955 colors when she first rolled out of the Disney Studios

Walt Disney had a miniture train in his backyard. The locomotive was based on Central Pacific's No.173 and was named after his wife Lillian Bounds Disney. The C.K. Holliday was based off the same locomotive and the Lilly Belle.

Cedar Point does not have the original Disneyland passenger cars. The combine is owned by one private group, the four coaches by another private individual, and the observation is still at Disneyland, converted to the private car "Lilly Belle".

Both of the Disneyland Railroad locomotives No. 1 and 2 were built for disneyland by Roger Broggie in the Disneyland shops in Anaheim shortly before the park opened. The E.P. Ripley helped open the park on July 17, 1955, and the C.K. Holliday was assigned to the old western freight train while the two spot pulled the old fashioned 1860`s style passenger train which has been retired and sold to Cedar Point. for another locomotive

I believe that both Disneyland 4-4-0s were build in the Disney shops and have never run for any other railroad.  #1 is named C.K. Holliday and #2 is E.P. Ripley
