Originally delivered to the DRB (successor to the DRG) during WW2 as No. 52 5557 it was sequestrated by the USSR, presumably re-gauged and used by the SŽD as No. TE-5557. In 1994 it was stored in Lviv Oblast, May well have run in Ukraine but latterly had only a Soviet identity, not even as a later Class 1042 ?
