In November 2013, the locomotive was parked in the locomotive shed in Wernigerode Westerntor after the operating period had expired. Recommissioning is planned for 2024. 51.834586° 10.780061°

Originally delivered to the DR for working the Harz lines as No. 99 238, later No. 99 7238-1. In late 1992 DR became DB, the locomotive was given EDP No. O99 148-9 but when purchased by the Harz GmbH, it’s outward identity reverted to an original DR number.
