On January 1st, 2022, the locomotive suffered serious chassis damage after a drive rod broke while driving up the Brocken. The locomotive was transported to Meiningen on January 17, 2022 to be examined and repaired there. On March 7, 2023, the locomotive from Meiningen returned to Wernigerode in operational condition after repairs and inspection.

Delivered as No. DR 99 232 to the Harz system, but worked from 1956-1960 on the Gera-Pforten branch, then returned to the Harz in that identity, later No. 99 7232-4 and, from the end of 1992 as DB, with new EDP number 099 142-2 but became HSB in it’s DR identity later that year.
