The locomotive had its deadline at the end of 2011. Parked in Warthausen and waiting to be refurbished.

Originally DRG (co-incidentally this was NEVER a DR locomotive) No. 99 716 through to DB in 1949 and serving with them until being withdrawn, officially from Bw Heilbronn, in March 1965. In late 1968 it was purchased privately for the Heating and Railway Museum, Güglingen and, in 1993 went to Museumbahn Öchsle. It had a new boiler, No. 1509, at RAW Meiningen in 1996.
