As Phil points out elsewhere, this was originally NWE No. 18 prior to being 13 and only becoming DR No. 99 5903 post December 1949, subsequently 099 112-5 only in 1992. It went to HSB ownership from February 1993 and has probably been the least run Mallet in various guises, along with sister locomotives, in private ownership.
