Rollable and completely preserved museum locomotive in good condition (operational until 2018). After the deadline, the locomotive was parked in Wernigerode in June 2018. 51.838989° 10.787363°

As Phil points out, this was originally NWE No. 11 only becoming DR No. 99 5901 post December 1949, subsequentlt 099 110-9 only in 1992. It went to HSB ownership from February 1993 and has run in its various guises, along with sister locomotives, since then.

In the 1980s East German Railways (DR) repainted their 0-4-4-0T of 1898 no. 99.5901 in its original Nordhausen-Wernigerode Eisenbahn (NWE) livery and given back its old no 11. It is seen here aprroaching Strassberg (Hertz) with the 16.32 from Gernrode on 3 September 1986. On reunification the loco was allocated DB no. 099.110 although it may never have actualy carried it.
