Another former Sächsische Staatsbahn locomotive, originally delivered to Lommatzsch. It was taken into DRG stock in 1925 as No. 99 579, working in this identity through to 1949, then with DR in that identity, later as No. 99 1759 then No. 99 1579-4. Bearing boiler No. 3449, it has been at the Sächsische Narrow Gauge Museum in Oberrittergrün since 1972.

Loco no.99.579 is of interest as it is one of only three remaining Saxon Railway 0-4-4-0T Meyers which were not rebuilt by the DR in the 1970s. As a result the others were virtually new engines.
