Previously DRG, subsequently DRB then DB No. 97 504, working from 1923-1962, then stored in Bw Reutlingen; later Horb, Freudenstadt and Kornwestheim. In 1988 it went for display in the MVT, Berlin.

Ex DB No. 97.504 at Berlin Technical Museum on 17 June 1999. The loco is an example of a Wurttemberg Railways class Hz. It is one of four rack tanks built for work on the Honau-Lichtenstein line. A second, no. 97.502 is preserved at the Railway Museum at Bochum-Dahlhausen
