Previously DRG, subsequently DRB then DB No. 97 502, working from 1923-1962 then going back to Esslingen. In 1976 it was moved to the DGEG museum at Bochum-Dahlhausen being stored there in 2001. Like its contemporary No. 97 501, now based in Reutlingen, is is a rack RT tank.

Ex DB No. 97.502 at the Railway Museum at Bochum-Dahlhausen on 14 October 1992. The loco is an example of a Wurttemberg Railways class Hz. It is one of four rack tanks built for work on the Honau-Lichtenstein line.
