Previously DRG, subsequently DRB then DB No. 97 501, working from 1923-1962. In 1972 it was displayed in Münsingen but in 1975 it was stored in Tübingen, a year later in Reutlingen. In the summer of 1978 it went on display in Obernzell and only in 1985 did it join the ZHL, being recommissioned during 2012.

This loco seems to be a rack loco, it had 4 cylinders, most likely 2 rack and 2 adhesion. It has another set of side rods as well, in the same position and of the style of those on a rack engine, it most likely is a rack and adhesion loco. Jacob Woods
