This is another case of confusion over identity. 89 7077 was at AW Schwerte as was 89 7531. The latter went to South Germany and was never in the North that was 89 7077. Both still exist with 89 7077 in Lübeck and 89 7531 at Heilbronn where it was noted in May 2019.

Bearing in mind the singular file image, my comment regarding ‘photos should be rephrased ‘little’ rather than ‘no’!

Originally kkStB Elberfeld No. 1744, later 6223 then, in 1924, as AW Lehtre No. 2, later 6002; as an internal work-horse! Following WW2 it was DB No. 89 6002, followed by No. 089 002-2 as a Werklok, being withdrawn in 1967. In 1972 it was displayed in a playground at Opladen-Lützenkirchen as No. 89 7531, later 89 7077 and from 1986 at MEP Paderborn, later to be purchased privately in Lübeck. There is no photographic evidence of it having been ‘steamed’ bearing it’s last two identities! This is the longest surviving example built by this constructor.
