This was originally Kyffhäuser Klienbahn No. 41 that, in 1925 became Kleinbahn Erfurt-Knottleben No. 2 and, from 1940 Kleinbahn Bebitz-Alsleben No. 269. Only in 1949 did this become the newly created DR No. 89 6024, working until the summer of 1961. It was officially withdrawn in early 1963 and disposed ofim Raw Görlitz, Görlitz-Schlauroth as No. 1. At the end of 1977 it went to the DDM at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg until 1990 when disposed of to Leihgabe an DBFK - Dampfbahnfreunde Kahlgrund e. V., Hanau, only moving in the summer of 1993 in its DR identity.
