Further to Dale's note (below). Investigation shows that the loco in the Technical Museum in Berlin is number 78, but carries works plates and number plates appropriate to Number 83. Confusing indeed.

This locomotive now resides in the Deutsches Technikmuseum, formerly Bw Berlin-Anhalter Bahnhof.
