Originally supplied to the KPEV in the Berlin Division as their No. 8470, it became, in 1925 and on creation of the DRG, No. 74 1192, and from 1937-1945 in the same identity with the succeeding DRB and 1945-1949 with the SBZ Military Administration. In the latter year it was in that identity with the newly created DR, working for them exclusively until retirement in 1966. A year later it was working again at a industrial railway in Erfurt as No. 3 before , in 1977, joining the DGEG in Bochum-Dahlhausen. It has never worked, or been the property, of the now DB.
