The locomotive entered service with the then DRB as No. 52 1505 and in late 1945 was stored by the SBZ Military Administration until 1949 when adopted by the newly created DR in the same identity. Probably as a result of damage, it was first re-constructed in 1965 as No. 52 7793 and then, precisely two decades later as a Rekolok at Raw Stendal, emerging on this occasion as No. 52 8133-2. It worked until 1988 and was withdrawn from Bw Neubrandenburg. On succession of DB in 1992, it was sold to B Falz, initiallty at Basdorf (north of Berlin), and later moved to his more permanent site in the former freight depot at Bw Falkenberg (Elster).
