The locomotive was delivered to the original DRB (successor to DRG) as No. 52 5585 and retained that identity during the SBZ Military Administration 1945-1949 and with the newly created DR from that latter date. It was then re-built with a more powerful boiler and re-numbered as Rekolok 52 8121, later No. 52 8121-7, latterly working as a heating locomotive at Guben in 1992 prior to withdrawal by DB and purchased in 1993 by EF Betzdorf, where it was in 2004 but as Herr. Redemann says, thelocomotive is now believed scrapped.
