Delivered in early 1944 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2652 that then joined DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn following WW2 in the same identity. It was called into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 32312/1964), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges, emerging as No. 52 8120 until 1970 when it was computerised as No. 52 8120-9 and worked until the end of 1991 though continued on the books of the then merged DB//DR from 01/1992 as No. 052 120-3 when it joined the Bernd Falz Collection, Steam Locomotive Museum Hermeskeil, Hermeskeil as No. 52 8120, being partially dismantled in Falkenberg since 2017.
