The original order for delivery to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn was for tank No. 86 896 but not built. Afterwards it was allocated, in 1943, to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn 2-10-0 as No. 52 2180 that, following WW2 in the Soviet sector of Germany, was leased for a year from 06/1954 to PKP - Polskie koleje Panstwowe, Poland and, a decade later in 10/1964 was called to Raw Stendal for reconstruction using combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 32310/1964), and various other components, emerging as No. 52 8118, being computerised as No. 52 8118-3 in 1970. It then ran until 1989 when then called to Raw Meiningen for conversion into a non-drivable heating locomotive (NHL) for use at Bw Berlin-Schoeneweide prior to being renumbered by the DB/DR merger in 01/1992 as No. 052 118-7.(un-written on the locomotive) and finally withdrawn in 12/1993. From here it went to the FWB - Fahrzeugwerk Brandenburg Manfred Villmann e.K., Brandenburg (Havel) as No. 52 8118-3 where it has remained stored 2010-2020.
