Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Oct 20, 2022 @ 08:10:53 Delivered to the DRB by the MBA successor to O&K from their Potsdam-Babelberg/Drewitz plant as No. 52 5012 at Brandenburg West. In November 1945 it was stored by the SBZ Military administration, emerging with the newly created DR in 1949 in the same identity until, in 1961, called to Raw Stendal for reconstruction which included Raw Halberstadt boiler No.206/1961 the locomotive being released as No. 52 8012, that upon computerisation in 1970 became No. 52 8012-0, working until 1988 when it was calledvto Raw Meiningen for conversion into a Heating Lok, and subsequently served at Bw Pasewalk until final withdrawal in 1991. It went to B Falz in 1993, first at Basdorf and later at Falkenberg.
