This may have originally been ordered from Borsig, Berlin given the actual running number and delegated to Schichau due to the former’s inability to deliver! It was produced for the DRB (successor to the DRG) as No. 52 662 which came under SBZ Military Administration 1945-1949. It continued with the new DR from the latter year, eventually becoming No. 52 1662 until being withdrawn in 1991. It was purchased by B Falz for his Hermeskeil Museum and has a EDP of 52 1662-7.
