Delivered to the DRB during the scond year of WW2 as No. 50 975, it survived hostilities to be taken during 1949, into DB dervice in the same identity to later become their No. 050 975-2, being withdrawn in 1975 from Bw Weiden and from where it went to the DDM. It was never owned by the eventual DR!
