This was built as a Übergangskriegslokomotiven (literally: provisional war locomotive for then DRB as No. 50 2676, through the SBZ Military Administration in 1945, and only in 1949 becoming a DR locomotive in the same identity. They later rebuilt it to then become No. 50 3628-0 and in 1992 was purchased privately, and still is, despite its location in Chamnitz.
