Originally delivered to DRG as Kreislok No. 50 2385, also carried by SBZ from late 1945 through to 1949 and then DR until being re-built, probably at RAW Stendal sometime between 1958 and 1962, as No. 50 3626. It was ‘retired’ from service whilst stationed at Bw Staßfurt where the following year it was ‘adopted’ by a group of depot enthusiasts. In 1996 it became the property of Eisenbahn Thüringer group named after the locomotive in Weimar and spends most of it’s time either here or at nearby Arnstadt, where there is a museum in the former depot (Bw) semi-roundhouse.

Before being re-built (Rekolok) this was 50 2385 and was constructed by Krauss-Maffei.
