Delivery in 09/1942 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 50 2995 at the repair shop in Floridsdorf, Wien, Austria with commissioning from depot Linz. It survived WW2 and found itself operating for DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the Soviet sector of the GDR until called, in 03/1959, for reconstruction at Aw Stendal, emerging at the end of the month as No. 50 3555 which, when computerised in 1970 became No. 50 3555-5. It was withdrawn in 1985 and placed on the reserve list until 1990 when it went to Aw Meiningen for conversion as a non-drivable heating locomotive (NH), working at Bw Magdeburg-Rothensee and/or Leipzig-Engelsdorf? It was withdrawn in 12/1991 shortly before being renumbered by the merging DB as No. 050 555-2 and then retired! whence it went privately into the Bernd Falz collection in Hermeskeil Steam Locomotive Museum as No. 50 3555.
