Sorry ILFORD, but thisis actually Henschel & S 26604/1942 NOT 25504; Delivered to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 50 2273 ÜK, but leased to CFR - Cailor Ferate Române, Romania in that guise from 01/1943. After WW2 it found itself with DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the then GDR, and in 09/1958 was called to Aw Stendal for reconstruction, emerging as 50 3539 that, in 1970 was computerised as No.50 3539-9 and worked in this guise until 02/1988 for conversion by Reichsbahn repair shop Aw Meiningen into a non-drivable heating locomotive (NHL) for use at Bw Nossen, first as 50 3539-9 the, withe the DB merger in O1/1992 as No. 050 539-6 and withdrawn shortlay later. In 10/1992 it was purchased privately by Peter Poymann who later placed it on loan to the BEM - Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum e. V., Nördlingen as No. 50 3539-9.

Loco re-built ex 50-2273, Henschel 26604 in 1942, now located at Weissach, at WEG depot, for Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung von Schienenfahrzeugen (GES) being overhauled in September 2022 for use in 2023?
