This was built for then DRB as No. 50 3031, and only in 1949 becoming a DB locomotive (NOT DR) in the same identity. It later became with them No. 053 031-1 until being withdrawn by them in Autumn 1974. It was not until 1977 that it was preserved by EFO, Deringhausen and later displayed in Oberath bei Lindlar, then stored Bf Linde before going to the SEH at Heilbronn.
