Delivered initially to the then DRB during the early part of WW2 as No. 50 2429, it succeeded into the fledgling DB in 1949 who, with the advent of computerisation re-numbered it to 052 429, it being withdrawn in 1977 from Bw Wedau. It was displayed in 1978 at Vörde and in 1990 went to the RIM, Oberhausen but spent several years in Raw Meiningen.
