The locomotive has currently been in long-term repair at MaLoWa in Klostermannsfeld.

DEW is an abbreviation for the Dampf Eisenbahn Weserbergland! The locomotive itself was delivered, via a intermadiary, to Zeche Monopol, Kamen as No. VIII; later to Ruhrkohle Konigsborn 3/4, Bönen-Altenbögge as D 779 where it was in 1974, later going to BAG Westfalen, Kamen-Herren as D 776. In 1976 it went to Rinteln as MONOPOL 8 and, in 2008 to Steam Railway DEW at Stadthagen-West, Niedersachsen, Germony.
