This locomotive and others are now at Westerburg still in the Westerwald.There since 2004.

Originally delivered to the DRG as No. 44 508 and, from 1945 for occupying SBZ until late 1949, then for the DB, later being computerised as No. 044 508. It was with BSW Gruppe at Bw Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck in 1977 later in Siershahn and in 2004 with EF Westerburg, as it still was in 2013.6

This locomotive was on display at Essen main station, Northrhein-Westfalia over one weekend in September 1989 and has not been in working order since the end of Steam in West Germany
