Originally DRG as No. 44 546, through SBZ and DR in 1949 bearding the same identity. With computerisation it became No. 044 0546-0, followed by 044 2546-0 when re-built to OIL firing, and was withdrawn from Bw Cottbus early in 1991. It made it’s way to BEM Nördlingen after a year of storage, in March 1992 and retains it’s last identity, minus computer check digit!
