Delivered to the DRB early in WW2 as No. 44 351, it was stored by the SBZ Military Administration at the end of 1945 until being re-instated in 1949 in the same identity to the emerging DR, later rebuilt to Oil-firing as No. 44 0351, then backnto coal as No. 44 2351-3. It was withdrawn in 1966 but it took until the emergence of the DB in 1992 for it to be sold to the VSE Region Group Wülknitz, Sachsen for eventual disposal.
