Originally delivered to the DRB as No. 44 1537 which suceeded into the DR after WW2 in thevsame identity before becoming oil fired as No. 44 0537-9, and back to being coal fired as No. 44 1537-8. It was also a Stationary boiler at Bw Guben upon retirement. At the end of 1991 it went to Hermeskeil.
