Delivered to the DRB near the start of WW2 as No. 41 271, it joined the newly created DB during 1948 in West Germany in the same identity until, around 1970 being renumbered as 042 271-7 and withdrawn from Bw Rheine in 1977. It was later in 1978 purchased by Rendsburger EF, Neumuester, where it still was, as a non-runner in 2007. It is also now oil-fired.
